Autumn Term - RNLI and Local Heroes
This term we will be learning about the RNLI
and local heroes such as Swansea Jack
We have already had a fantastic trip to Mumbles RNLI and we will be
linking our learning to this visit and building on what we found out.
Our trip gave us lots of ideas about how we can learn about
staying safe when we're near the water, whether at the coast,
inland by rivers, canals, lakes and reservoirs.
We will be learning about what to do and what not to do,
if we ever see someone in trouble in the water.
Please see our class Topic Web for further information.

Manners, Respect and Effort are our whole school qualities.
We expect these qualities throughout everything we do.
If you strive to achieve these then you will succeed in class, in Grange and in your future lives!

suitable footwear and appropriate P.E. clothing that can be worn indoors or outdoors.
Drinks Bottles and Snacks
We are a Healthy School and promote the children having continuous access to fresh water.

Daily Guided Reading Carousel
We begin every morning with a guided reading carousel, during which time all pupils have the opportunity to read with their teacher, read with their Year 6 buddies, practise recognition and letter formation of sounds and words, access their reading Eggs account and select their own books for pleasurable reading in our quiet area.
